Joyce Meyer's daily devotional for 15 April, 2016-Your Source of Security

 Photo of the day 15/04/2016

Topic: Your Source of Security [April 15, 2016]

“Let the beloved of the Lord rest secure in him, for he shields him all day long, and the one the Lord loves rests between his shoulders.” -
 Deuteronomy 33:12 NIV
One way to know whether you really love yourself in a healthy, bal¬anced way or not is to ask yourself whether you are a relatively secure person or whether you struggle with insecurity. Simply put, insecurity is a feeling that you really aren't "good enough," or needing others' approval in order to be confident. It has to do with whether your life is built on the unshakable foundation of God's love or the faulty foundation of what others think of you.

 Enemy's Curse Reversed [Friday April 15, 2016]

Text: Esther 8:7-17

Key Verse: "Write ye also for the Jews, as it liketh you, in the king's name, and seal it with the king's ring: for the writing which is written in the king's name, and sealed with the king's ring, may no man reverse" (Esther 8:8).

Darrell G. Vaughn, in his message entitled, "Faithfulness: A key step to happiness", explains that the only problem that is unsolvable, unfixable and incurable is the one you will not admit having. The first major step to a turnaround and a breakthrough is for you to recognise and admit you have a problem. The next is to take your problem to the right place - God.

18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.

Joyce Meyer's daily devotional for 12 April, 2016- High Praises of God

Topic: High Praises of God [April 12, 2016]

Let the saints be joyful in the glory and beauty [which God confers upon them]; let them sing for joy upon their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their throats and a two-edged sword in their hands.
 -Psalm 149:5-6

We should form a habit of thanking and praising God as soon as we wake up each morning. While we are still lying in bed, let’s give thanks and fill our minds with Scripture.

Text: Job 6:1-13

Key Verse:
"Can that which is unsavory be eaten without salt? or is there any taste in the white of an egg?" (Job 6:6).

Quite often in life, we find people who are going through difficult and harsh experiences. Such people always plead for help. And because it is impossible for a third party to fully appreciate what they are really going through, they tend to jump too quickly to usually wrong conclusions.Read more>>

Joyce Meyer's daily devotional for 11 April, 2016-Overcome Evil with Good

Topic: Overcome Evil with Good [April 11, 2016]

Do not let yourself be overcome by evil, but overcome (master) evil with good. - Romans 12:21

We must not use our personal problems as an excuse to be grouchy and unloving with other people. Always remember that we overcome evil with good. This is why it is so important that we trust God, and while we are waiting on a change in our circumstances, we should remember to do good, do good, and do good!

Text: Amos 1:1-9

Key Verse: "The words of Amos, who was among the herdmen of Tekoa, which he saw concerning Israel in the days of Uzziah king of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash king of Israel, two years before the earthquake" (Amos 1:1).
Very often, people trivialize their stations in life. They do not value who and what they are. Some even think that it is an act of spirituality to belittle themselves. Others simply user this as an excuse to avoid getting involved in activities that would otherwise glorify God.

Text: Psalm 81:1-16

Key Verse: "Oh that my people had hearkened unto me, and Israel had walked in my ways!" (Psalm 81:13).

You may have, at one time or the other, expressed regret in failing to seize an opportunity when there was room for it. The bottom line of such regret shows that we take the blame for what we experience as a result of our inaction or unwise action. In today's text, God reveals that the nation of Israel was solely to blame for their unfortunate lot in life. .............Read more>>>
